P&I Parish Council Logo green750Look for your Neighbourhood Plan Survey from the Parish Council in this Friday or Saturday morning’s post. There has been identification and extensive assessment of all potential housing development sites in this Parish. CDC’s Local Plan (2014-2029) specifies a further development of a 10 house minimum for this Parish in the plan period, with a presumption in favour of sustainable development within the Ifold Settlement Boundary AND  unspecified windfall development (CDC defines windfall as developments of 5 houses or less). As there are no appropriately sized sites for housing development of 6 or more houses within the Ifold Settlement Boundary, greenfield sites have been identified that are adjacent to Durfold Wood, adjacent to the Ifold Settlement Boundary; and within Plaistow village. CDC have also identified sites in this Parish which are noted in their Site Allocations Development Plan. The survey invites you to attend 1 of the 2 Public Consultations and asks you to rank your preferences for the potential housing development sites identified in this Parish.
