Neighbourhood Plan Submission to the District Council

On Friday, 31 August 2018, the Parish Council submitted the Plaistow and Ifold Parish – Neighbourhood Plan to the local planning authority, Chichester District Council (CDC), as part of Regulation 15 Submission. The documents related to the submission will soon be made available for public viewing on this website.

What Happens Next? CDC will next take The Plan through a further period of public consultation, known as Regulation 16, after which the plan will be submitted for Examination by an Independent Examiner. If found satisfactory at Examination, The Plan will then be presented to Parish residents, currently registered on the electoral roll, to vote on at a subsequent Referendum.

If passed at referendum The Plan will be made and adopted by CDC. The Plan sets out land use policies against which development proposals will be considered as part of the planning application process.

  1. I find this plan illogical you say that Foxbridge was dismissed because the brown area was not big enough for 11 houses and yet you are prepared to consider a total green area, which is raised and right next to a conservation area as appropriate. If that is the case why say that a brown area is preferred when obviously you do not take this seriously into consideration.
